Do you need to do a Parasite Cleanse? Probably…

Any organism that lives and feeds off another organism is called a parasite (I heard of some humans that live that way too ;o)) Intestinal parasites – the one we are talking about here – are organisms, usually worms, that feed off your nutrition or your body.

You’ve probably heard horror stories of 3-foot tapeworms that cause serious problems for some people, but did you know that most parasites are very tiny and some can only be seen by microscope?
Parasites can cause a myriad of symptoms and only a few are digestive in nature like severe bloating, cramps, constipation, diarrhoea. It doesn’t stop here. Parasites can affect the balance of the intestinal flora, further impacting upon digestive and systemic health. This imbalance in the gut flora is called dysbiosis; and in conjunction with the parasitic worms can have a major effect on the body’s ability to obtain proper nutrition and lead to serious health problems.

How do we get Parasites?

Picture
While it is a common belief that parasitic worms are restricted to poverty-stricken areas or third world countries, the truth is that they’re very much a part of our modern lives.

Parasites can come into the body through exposure to contaminated food and water, pets, mosquitoes and fleas as well as through sexual transmission.

Meat, especially Pork, raw fish and shellfish happen to be especially rich in heat tolerant parasites. Also fruit and vegetables can carry parasites and if you have ever been overseas there is actually a very good chance that you could have a parasite infestation.

It is estimated that 85% of the world’s population is infested with parasites (1).

With places like day care centres, schools or simply where many people come into close physical contact; it is not possible to fully control transmission from those who – for instance – have pets in the home or may not practice proper hygiene. Under these conditions it is possible that anyone can contract intestinal worms.

The many Health Challenges caused by Parasites

Because parasites come in diverse types – mainly protozoa and helminthes – they can cause a very wide range of problems.

As mentioned before the most common symptoms are severe bloating, cramps, constipation, diarrhoea. However, these parasites and their eggs can travel to various organs such as the liver where they can cause abscesses and cirrhosis (2, 3).  They can also migrate to the lungs causing pneumonia and into the joints, brain, muscles, oesophagus and skin where they cause hyper inflammatory processes (4). Others live of your red blood cells, causing anaemia. Some lay eggs that can cause itching, irritability.

Chronic parasitic infections are linked with intestinal permeability and leaky gut, irritable bowel syndrome, irregular bowel movements, malabsorption, gastritis, acid reflux, skin disorders, joint pain, seasonal and food allergies and decreased immunity (5, 6, 7).

Trouble sleeping, skin irritations, mood changes, and muscle pain can all be caused by the toxins that parasites release into the bloodstream. These toxins often cause anxiety, which can manifest itself in different ways. When these toxins interact with your neurotransmitters or blood cells, they can cause mood swings or skin irritation. Also waking up in the middle of the night or grinding your teeth in your sleep are signs that your body is experiencing anxiety while you rest.

If you have tried countless approaches to heal your gut and relieve your symptoms without any success, a parasite could be the underlying cause for many of your unexplained and unresolved symptoms.

A healthy, natural intestinal flora is not only an integral part of a properly functioning digestive system, it is vital. We know these days, that an unbalanced microbiome is linked to Autoimmune diseases and even mental diseases.

It is one thing to get the right balance of “good and bad” bacteria living in your gut, but it is another task to get rid of parasites.

The big problem in getting to the bottom of this (pun intended) is that the mainstream medical system really doesn’t have a way to detect most forms of parasites. They give you drugs for the symptoms, but essentially the parasites aren’t removed during that process.

How do we get rid of Parasites?

Natural is best. You can add lots of garlic and onions to your diet and also have at least 3 tablespoons of Coconut Oil daily.

Beside that, it is recommended to take a concentrated blend of herbs and plants that have a proven history of stimulating digestive function and help the body to protect itself against unhealthy intestinal bacteria. The right blend will help to eliminate many gastrointestinal organisms including intestinal worms, yeast and fungi while sparing the beneficial gut bacteria.

I recommend Para Cleanse. This unique concentrated blend of herbal and botanical ingredients is designed to help to rid your body of intestinal worms in addition to assisting you in maintaining healthy bowel flora.

Containing two herbs from the species classically known as ‘wormwood’; traditionally these bitter herbs with their powerful essential oils are used against intestinal worms for their vermifuge (worm expelling) or antihelmintic (worm killing) actions.

In addition to this ability to remove intestinal worms, the carefully selected and potent blend of naturally occurring plant derived ingredients in Para Cleanse can also assist the body in removing dysbiotic bacteria, yeasts and fungi. Para Cleanse helps to eliminate many of the gastrointestinal organisms linked to gut inflammation and gut permeability as well as reducing the risk of further infestation.

The synergistic blend acts as a tonic for the digestive system and helps to support normal, healthy digestive function. By aiding the body to keep healthy bowel flora and support healthy digestion, Para Cleanse can help you to maintain your overall health and wellness.

You may receive additional benefits from combining this product with: Colostrum, Probiotic (actually a Symbiotic with PRE and PRObiotics that when combined provides 1.5 TRILLION good bacteria in ONE serving), Digestive Enzymes, Aloe Vera.

Hi there! I am Ellen and I’m into all things well-being, self-care, healthy eating, clean living and emotional balance, personal growth.

Let’s be the best and healthiest person we can be!

I love nature and the sunshine, Pilates and Yoga, and of course my little fur baby and my wonderful partner.

My motto is “Health is a Habit and Happiness is a Choice”.

As a well-being advocate I empower health conscious people to make better choices regarding the only two causes of disease: toxicity and deficiency. For example, by reducing our daily toxic load with better food choices and the use of toxin-free personal care products on one side and enhancing nutrition intake on the other side. This and more will significantly improve our life.

As a Psychosomatic Therapist and a Trained John Demartini Method Facilitator I am passionate about empowering people in dissolving any internal or external emotional stress and conflict (toxic emotions) – which when left unresolved will not only hinder us in living our full potential, but also can easily manifest in physical disease.

I enjoy researching, sharing and educating throughout my wellness business and endeavour to provide you helpful information here so you can live a healthy life till old age, feel energetic and can enjoy doing the things you love.
